BEIS REPORT

Enrolment data reveals that there are 2,790 learners presently enrolled this School Year 2020-2021 with 1436 Male and 1354 Female, from Kinder to Grade VI

Health and Nutrition is very important for learners that encourage them come to school regularly. LHES has 48 learners under severely wasted and 173 under wasted from Kinder to Grade 6. These children are beneficiaries of the School-Based Feeding Program.

Learners’ Materials which are indeed the basic need of learners. Presently, only two grade levels have incomplete learners’ materials particularly Grade 2 with no copies in all learning areas. Grade 6 has 6 sets of books with limited number, 68 pieces for English with 7:1 ratio, 99 pieces for Araling Panlipunan with 5:1 ratio, EPP 419 with 2:1, Math 227 with 2:1, and ESP 226 with 2:1 and MAPEH with 187 ratio 3:1. Grades 1, 3,4 and 5 have sufficient number of learners’ materials.

To be able to provide quality education, teachers attend Professional Development like seminars and workshops. Majority of the teachers attended the Division In- Service Training in all Learning Areas and DepEd NCR-MTAP Regional Intensive Training on Content and Pedagogy for Teachers in Mathematics.

Every school needs funds to operate the improvements of teaching-learning process, facilities and other priority projects. Different funding sources is one of the key points that supports all the operations of the school. As of September, the General Appropriation Act (School MOOE) amounted to Php 2,074,800.00, General Appropriation Act (Subsidy for Special Program), Local Government Unit Funds with Php 60,850.00 (not yet complete water and electricity bills not yet included), Canteen Funds Php 205, 357.08 and Donations from June to September Php 963, 754.00.

La Huerta Elementary School receives different awards and recognition every year. LHES was awarded Brigada Eskwela 2019 Second Best Implementer Large Category Division Level. The School Paper also won in different categories in Division Level 1st place Sports Writing in English, 4th place English Copy Reading, 7th place Editorial Cartooning, 10th place Editorial Writing, Pagsulat ng Isport at Pagkuha ng Larawan sa Filipino. During the Cluster Meet Swimming 1st and 3rd place, Basketball 2nd place, Volleyball 3rd place, Chess 1st place, Badminton(Boys) 1st place, Long Jump 2nd place and Hurdles that got most number of awards 1st,2nd and 3rd place. In both Academic and Sports, LHES shines.

Performance Indicators (Access) in terms of Number of Rate of Dropouts, LHES has 17 pupils under PARDOS teachers are doing the necessary interventions and actions to have these learners return to school. (Quality) Under Literacy Level, based from the PHIL-IRI result, there are 21%.

Child-Friendly Survey Result with 21 points and defined to be still NOT A Child-Friendly School, falling short of some indicators.

For the Status of Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects, there will be proposed research to be conducted on Pupils with Failing Marks in all learning areas. The School Based Management assessment is on Level 2, with hopes of achieving higher evaluation on the next three years.
